CCUSD Science Fair Information  ( more)

  Projects are due on Feb. 3rd.   Judging and community viewing will occur on Feb. 4th.


All CCUSD Science Fair submissions must be investigations.   An investigation is a proper scientific experiment using the scientific method to seek out unknown answers to hypothetical questions . Basically, it's an experiment. Please see the 2009-2010 Kiwanis Science Fair Handbook for detailed information. (link above)

Models and Demonstrations are not allowed. Models and  demonstrations do not answer a question through experimentation, but instead illustrate a known scientific principle (oil drop model of splitting the atom) or a natural process (erupting volcano) by modeling or demonstrating it.

  K-2nd-  Optional class, pair, or group projects encouraged

3rd-  Mandatory class project with  optional  pair or individual projects

4th -5th-  Mandatory individual or pair projects
