Ms. Mette's Biography

Ms. Mette has a Bachelor of Arts in Family Studies and Child Development from University of Arizona, an Arizona Department of Education Elementary Teaching Certificate K-8, a gifted endorsement, an Early Childhood Endorsement, a Middle School endorsement, and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Arizona State University.  She has taught for fifteen years at Desert Sun Academy with five years in 5^th grade, two years in 2^nd grade, four years in 3^rd, and four years in 4^th grade.  Ms. Mette has also been an adjunct professor for the University of Phoenix College of Education. She was awarded Best of the Best Teacher for the Cave Creek Unified School District in 1999 and was the Disney Teacher of the Year Nominee in 1999-2007.
