In our September Mini-Museum we studied art from Ancient North America. We saw how the Native People used symbols with geometric shapes and colors to express themselves. We used the same geometric shapes and colored pencils to create our artwork. It will be displayed in our cafeteria through October. Thank you Mrs. Link for teaching us!!

In our September mini-museum we studied a modern day Native American artist. We compared his style of using shapes and colors to the Ancient Native American artists we studied last month. We used pastels to create a pattern for our design.

We continued our exploration of Native American artists as we learned about Rafael. In our project we used watercolor pencils to create a colorful fish.
