Reading - See Journey's Focus Wall below for target this weeks reading, vocabulary, target skills, grammar, and writing. Read each night for 20 minutes and complete the Weekly Reading Log (handout Monday, returned the following Monday). In addition, 1 Independent Reading Response (project or summary to be assigned by teacher) is due each quarter. These books should be read either at home or during SSR in class.
Writing - Practice grammar and paragraph writing each week.
Math - See Go Math! assignments below. As assigned each night or practice at least 15 minutes on math facts, multiplication or division strategies.
Science/Social Studies - Vocabulary and Core Knowledge work through Quia. Current event assignment due 1 per month based on what's happening in the world.
