Accelerated Reader (AR) is available at HTES as part of a web-based program called ‘Renaissance Place.’

‘HomeConnect’ is the link to viewing your child’s AR records. You will need your child's AR user name (lunch number) and password (abc) to access this site. Ask your child for this information.

 ‘My Bookshelf’ will give you photo images of each book on which quizzes have been taken by your child.

 ‘AR BookFinder’ can be used to find books that have AR quizzes—search by title, author, topics, reading level .

 ‘AR BookBag’ will allow you to make and then print a list of books your child is interested in reading. Take the list to the public library to help find appropriate books.

 E-mail can be automatically sent with AR results to as many as six E-mail addresses of parents, guardians, or relatives. (Recipients must accept the invitation to receive updates of child’s progress for the notification to begin.)
